As it happens here at the Ski Rex Media Podcast, I present another sequel episode. If you go back two episodes, you can listen to guest Geoff Hanson talk about how the Imbrace Snow Sports Leggings went from dream to reality. Part of the design effort came from a 4x Olympic Alpine Skier who not only weighed in on the leggings for snow sports in general but how to make a better product for women. This week, we talked to that Olympian. Chemmy Alcott, a former Alpine ski racer from England joins the program to discuss her part in the design process for Imbrace. Afterwards, we get to talk a little about her career, which brought her to Waterville Valley in her youth, we talk about ski broadcasting with a GS World Cup prediction, and she even gives me a tip that I might have to try. It's a fun episode with a lot of information, My Friends. Strap in and enjoy!
Remember, if you'd like to try a pair of the Imbrace Snow Sports Leggings or any of their other products for yourself, head to https://imbrace.com and use the code "SKIREX10" to get 10% off your order.

I hope everybody is packed and ready to hit the road. This week, we're heading up to Tohkomeupog Camp for a week at Ski & Snowboard Camp. Okay, we are not literally heading up to the camp, but this week's guest is Steve Harding, the Director at the camp. In this episode, Steve tells us all about the history of the camp, which is about to reach 100 years. He also tells us about the camp programs, what the kids think, what the parents think, and how to get your child into the camp. In fact, we also talk a little about the summer camp. Oh, and the camp is right next door to King Pine Ski Area, which we've talked about on the podcast before. Have a listen for some history, some camp stories, and maybe a place that your child might like to visit. Thank you for listening!
If you would like more information about Tohkomeupog Camp, please head to their website at https://www.tohko.com/ski-snowboard-camp/about-ski-snowboard-camp. There is a lot more information there, which includes the contact info.

Hello and welcome to another all-new Ski Rex Media Podcast! This week, Geoff Hanson, Founder of Imbrace, comes on the program to talk about the Imbrace Snow Sports Leggings. Geoff founded the company to make a product that can benefit skiers and riders by giving support and compression all in one unit. Now, I'll say that I think he succeeded because I have a pair of the snow sports leggings and Dynamic+ leggings and I love them both. If you'd like to hear more about how they work, listen to this episode. We also talk about how Geoff came up with the idea, who he worked with to make the idea a reality, and a bunch of other stuff. I think you'll enjoy this one, My Friends. Thank you for listening.
If you'd like to know more about the Imbrace Leggings, their other products, and how to order a pair for yourself, please head to the Imbrace website at https://imbrace.com. Also, as you will hear in the episode, Ski Rex Media listeners and fans can get a 10% discount by using the code SKIREX10. Take advantage of it, Friends!

This week, I welcome new guests, Ryan Thompson, founder of 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirits Company, and Jay Baldassarre, 10th Mountain Whiskey Northeast Rep. to the program. Not only do we talk about the products they make for your après enjoyment, to which there are a few, but we also talk about the history of the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army and why Ryan decided to honor those men and women when started the distillery. That's right, there is an education component to this one. I also addressed another question that came in through the Ski Rex Media voicemail. I really get a kick out of this bit. If you would like, please visit https://www.speakpipe.com/SkiRexMedia to send in a question, criticism, shout out, or anything else. I appreciate it and I hope you enjoy the episode.

Good Morning, My Friends!!! The Ski Rex Media Podcast is all new, has a new guest, and has a new segment. For the segment, I answered a question via the Ski Rex Media Speakpipe Voicemail. The voicemails are starting to come in slowly, so instead of waiting to do the Q&A episode, I answer one of them in this episode. It's a question that came about after last week's episode about littering on the mountains. Then, I welcome a new guest to the podcast, Ed Warren. He is the Managing Director at Uphill New England, which has a pass dedicated to going uphill at several New England ski areas and resorts. We talk about the pass, what it can do for you and the mountains, and some of the cons, as well. There are two segments in this episode and a lot is going on during those two segments. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoyed it.
If you want more information about Uphill New England, please visit their website at https://www.uphillnewengland.org. Thank you!

How are you out there in Ski Rex Media Podcast-Land? As you can see and hear...it's time for another new Ski Rex Media Podcast episode! This week, I bring you a second solo episode that's based on a social media post that I put up a bit ago. It should be easy to find if you follow Ski Rex Media on social media. Especially once you know it's about littering. It was a post that generated a bunch of interest and conversation across social media and I thought it would be good to keep it going and make an episode that was a P.S.A. For this P.S.A. episode, I talk about littering, why you shouldn't do it, and how littering could be part of how some outside communities look at the snow sports communities and industry. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoyed it! The podcast returns next week with a new guest.
P.S.- What did you think of that pre-theme music sound clip? If you would like to do one, head to my website, http://www.skirexmedia.com, or directly to https://www.speakpipe.com/SkiRexMedia to leave me a voicemail, which I can then use as an intro. Thanks!

I hope that you are ready for a New Year and a New Ski Rex Media Podcast. This week, I'm going solo on the old podcast. I have a little bit of a lull until the next round of recording sessions begins, so I'm thinking it would be a good time to see if I can still pull off a solo episode. It's been a while since I've done one, so why not give it a try, right? In this episode, I wanted to talk about some of the odd things that kids bring up as they exit the magic carpet lift at Whaleback. I also get into a few other stories from my return to lift operations at Whaleback. I've done two days already this season. Let's see how many more I will do.
Just so you know, and I say this in this episode, but I would like to do a Q&A episode. You can ask Ski Rex Media a question or you can just send me something goofy to put on the podcast. Either way works. You can send me a DM through social media, you can send me an email (contact@skirexmedia.com), you can send a comment on a social media post, or you can leave Ski Rex Media a voicemail at https://www.speakpipe.com/SkiRexMedia. I've already had one voicemail, but I'd like a few more. Participate if you can. I appreciate it.
