Good Day To You All!!! It's time for another brand new podcast episode, this week featuring a person who also works in snow sports media.
 
The fun thing about having other members of snow sports media on the program is that we are all different. The content I produce is going to be a little different from someone else, even if the topics, guests, and locations are the same or similar.
 
So, this week, I have Jack McGuirk joining me on the podcast. He is a producer at The Mountain Report, which I am sure you have heard of since they have been around since 2001 and all over New England and the world. In this episode, Jack and I talk about what The Mountain Report does, where they can be found, and the plans they have for the coming season. Wendy runs The Ski Diva, which includes a blog and forum designed as a space for snow sports-loving ladies to come together to talk about all thing snow sports. This includes using the pre-season to be ready for the ski and snowboard season. This is Wendy's third appearance on the Ski Rex Media Podcast and once again she does not disappoint when it comes to pre-season tips & tricks, as well as just a great New England skier conversation. This week, I present the first pro-athlete guest of the season. Jacob Perkins is a pro-skier that participates in the outlier discipline of speed skiing. I'll openly admit that I don't know anything about the discipline, though I have seen it once or twice on television. But one of the main reasons I have the podcast is to learn about new things. In this episode, Jacob talks about speed skiing and his own experiences racing at speeds that some of us will never hit on skis. It's an interesting interview with a bit of fun thrown in here & there, with a pinch of six-grade humor later in the episode. I'm sure you'll know it when you hear it. Plus, I point it out.

The leaves are changing, the sun is setting earlier, the temps are dropping a little, and the Ski Rex Media Podcast returns for the 22/23 snow sports season!
Hello all! Welcome back to the Ski Rex Media Podcast. Like I ended last season, season four starts with a panel discussion. That panel features friends & fans of Ski Rex Media, which includes Brian from IG, Scooter, Pops, Brian from The High Falutin' Ski Bums Podcast, and fan favorite & #1 Hype Man, Tech Rob. We all had a ton of fun in this episode talking about pre-season & season plans, what to expect in and around the industry, COVID-19, monkeypox, and a whole bunch of other things that may or may now have anything to do with snow sports.
