I find the world of adaptive sports fascinating. From the folks that participate, to those that teach and develop adaptive sports, to the technologies that make many adaptive sports possible. It's all some really interesting stuff. With that said, I decided I wanted to talk about adaptive sports and I found just the right person. I have talked about a skiing book in the past. I had Dan Egan on the podcast talking about his book, “30 Years in a White Haze”. That was a lot of fun and this week we talk to an artist and skier that had a hand in that book. This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kimberley Kay, who not only did a handful of the illustrations in Egan’s book, but she has written and illustrated a book of her own, “Ski A to Z”. It’s a wonderful book that is written and illustrated for those wading into the ski world.
